Memorial to Deanna
Deanna circa 1964
Five years ago, Oct. 11, 2001, I felt like I lost four very important people in one day. My wife, my best friend, my buddy and my lover!
I miss her terribly.
She was a real angel put here on earth. In the 17 years she and I were together, I never heard her say a bad word about anyone else, even those persons who had made life difficult for her. She taught me a lot about graceful living. We never argued, never fussed.
Deanna, I'd give anything to be with you right now!
You're all I've thought about from the moment
You left five years ago, We never had a chance to say goodbye.
I miss your smile. I miss your laughter.
I miss looking into your eyes and
knowing exactly what you were thinking.
I miss just holding your hand .
I'd give anything to see you right now,
to hear the warmth in your voice.
I'd give anything to hold you in my arms
and say to you
Over and Over Again….
I Love you,
Very, Very Much!
Paraphrased from a poem by Renee Duvall
Deanna still lives in my heart and mind.
